My advice to you: Take lessons. Buy a practice pad to work on your rudiments with. I would not drop the dough for an electronic kit (unless you are rich) until you know that drums are your 'thing' and you are going to be playing for years. Practicing on an electronic set is a lot different than play...

As for the Oregon Liquor Commission's decision...we really don't know exactly what went on. We were told that it had something to do with a recent series of shootings in that area....maybe trying to keep the kids out of harm's way? That would be my assumption as well, but there are several all ages...
