hi i am going to engineer and produce my friends record and am wondering a bout the type of mic placement i should be thinking of, we are going to be using about 9 mics and it is a 30x30x8 room with a few couches in it (non-insulated basement.)

put your guitar directly in front of your amp for direct feedback, put it through a wah and a leslie emulator and you get some cool sounds, also put some light tom medium dist on it.
