Anyone with it? Drawbacks? Highlights? Bottom line: worth dropping $1,000 on?

For anyone whose answer is predicated on what type of equipment the Project Mix will be utilized with, my gear is as follows:

PowerMac G5
Logic Pro 7.1.1
(soon) M-Audio IE(?, might not be exact model number)33 ...

The two vacuum tubes within my Electribe are both, for a reason unbeknowsnt to me, slanted to the right. Should I be concerned and is this effecting the gain capability of my machine? Thanks.

Does anyone know how to adjust Logic Pro 7 to send all output information to my iBook G4's internal audio interface? I'll soon be getting an interace with FireWire capability (motu 828mkII, probably), though, in the meantime, I would like to be able to send everything to my computer's default audio ...
