wouldn't go so far as to say that that was simple. lombardo is a pretty awesome drummer if you ask me.

i love when he threw in just a taste of that famous "angel of death" fill towards the end.

definatey not crap. very very far from it. one of my top 3 favorite hardcore bands. guitar player blows me away. and the sense of groove is unparalleled in hardcore. one of the few hardcore bands that is comprised of real musicians, rather than the redundant one-chord chug breakdown tight pant weari...

never seen them live, but they are sick. i've seen cephalic a few times... best live grind sets i've probably ever seen. they're one of my favorites.

i would be inclined to say that given the kind of mellow nature of the sound of the instruments, you could get something really cool sounding out of a simple stereo pair. given the tamber of those two instruments and characteristics of the music they're playing, they (the instruments) probably won't...
