I found "The Strain" through these boards and ultimately, through "In Utero"...And it's super well done, doesn't try too hard. Hit's hard. Great musicianship, cool sound. Props to the creators. Great album to put on when in the mood for grunge.

Aquarian Performance II make crappy drums sound good. I don't really know how to tune drums that well though. I know the concept of how it should work but my execution is just meh. I need someone to teach me how to do it. and I've been playing drums for almost 14 years now...

I recorded some songs recently in astoria... at soundworks recording studio. great room for drums; not cheap, overall I came out satisfied with my experience and the amount of money I spent, was able to produce myself while the owner of the studio engineered.
