Has anyone got any experience with these speakers.
I've found a pair of 544's (motional feedback) and would like to use them in my studio.
I suppose they are rare in the US, but if anyone knows them or has any experience with them, let me know.

I've been looking for a decent m-s matrix for some time now and have also considered building one myself.
I too have not found a decent schematic.
AEA makes a fairly cheap m-s matric (http://www.wesdooley.com/aea/MS_Stereo.html), called mark II.
I'd like to know about some other reasonably priced units, though.

Alex, Here's how i use m-s on drums: I use a good distance from the kit (like 6 feet) and place them at about eyeheight with the drummer .
