I don't think Cubs fans are exceptionally racist, but they do give far shorter leashes to minority players like Jacque Jones, Derek Lee, Bradley, etc. when they struggle moreso than say Mike Fontenot, Reed Johnson, etc. That's not unique to Cub fandom though.
