Low have a considerable number of good songs and I very much like Alan Sparhawk's voice, phrasing and words; but have they got any songs as good as "Washer" and "Good Morning Captain"? I don't think any of Low's songs have the same feeling of release as at the climax of those two...

I thought the "Rabbit" tetralogy was good, although I read those novels as a very young man. I reread Rabbit, Run a few years ago and got more from it than I did on the first reading. I thought that Terrorist was about as good as Saturday by Ian McEwan, which is to say, not very good at all.
