Inspired by this thread, I looked up Hughes' filmography. I though he directed The Great Outdoors, turns out he just wrote the script. I remember liking the physical comedy moments of that film as a kid.

I showed my wife the scene with The Ol' 96er.

I really like them. That original run of 3 albums they did - the s/t, Sound of Silver, This is Happening - is very impressive. Their live shows are fun too.

Here's hoping. I can't do fests anymore, I am always miserable. If they play Riot Fest without doing a venue show up here I would be very surprised.
