failure's "comfort" debut. honestly, definitely not albini's finest hour mixing-wise, but it's some very cool riffy, sloppy, messy noise-grunge. my favourite album from them.

oh man i can't stand that guy's voice, nails on a chalk board.

it's Goat. it just has the most great songs...but Head is verrrry close behind, with songs like one evening and pastoral... i love it. with the addition of Pure it becomes their best release, but that's only on the reissue i think.

finger bass is really cool and has its place in some really great bands (minutemen, sabbath ... ) but in really aggressive and fast music it can just sound farty. chunky pick bass all the way !

I've never actually listened to them but my friend's band has played with them a few times and he seems to like them.

I'm not - the bureaucrat jackass running my country has been rolling them out really slowly, and I'm not in the age demographic that's getting them yet.
