That Seraphym record speciallly is freakin' weird sounding. Can't think of any other band like that.

Yep, Killmen were definitely on another level. They were one of those bands that had a pretty unique sound, I haven't heard a previous band that sounded quite like them. I just listened to Strap It On (vinyl reissue on decent system). It’s slaps as is… it’s way more deranged than the rest of their output.... David Sardy’s production is really great. There’s some fantastic drum sounds. Especially the bits recorded in a tiled bathroom that sound like revolver shots…....

Band: Circus Lupus

Easily my fave Dischord band. Those two records, specially Super Genius, are some of the best shit I've ever heard. Everything about them is so cool.

A few months ago they remastered their first demo from 1990 and released on vinyl. Haven't checked that.

LOVED Troublegum 30 years ago, but listening to it today is a bit painful; catch tunes but production sounds so dated. Still, great memories attached to that record.
