Today I finished Dear Scott, Dearest Zelda - the letters between Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald. And gosh darn, if this book hasn't made me sad. how much of your enjoyment for that book came from your love for fitzgerald? i read and enjoyed the great gatsby recently, but i haven't really got into that ...

i went once, and it has a sizeable red light district

actually yeah id go with that, i still prefer the second series by a little because of the high points, but its certainly more hit and miss

the main high point i remember from series 1 is the comic vince draws of charlie the bubble gum thing, including the posh hammer

the only band i wanted to see this year were gogol bordello, im not sure ive heard them mentioned around here before, or even if they'd be well recieved, but they certainly bring the gypsy punk with style

i liked season 2 more, i was a bit disappointed they left out bainbridge (that i can remember anyway), but nanageddon and milky joe were quality episodes

the fisherman in old greg are great characters too, telling the tales and all that

i managed to see them on their tour this year, it was mostly rehashed material from various episodes of the tv show, but it rocked one the less
