Dachman Audio or Other Clones

I saw a review in Tape Op of the Dachman Audio U 87 style mic. Has anyone tried these out? Hope do they compare to the real deal? Are here other clones that folks recommend to those of us who can't afford to drop a few grand on a high quality mic? Thanks for any help.

RCA 77DX vs RCA 77D

I'm wondering if there is a big difference between the RCA 77DX and the RCA 77D. My understanding is the DX has a bit higher output. What can y'all tell me about the differences in the two models? Is the DX worth the extra money? Thanks!
