Am I alone in thinking that Tree of Life was kinda boring? I think Terrence Malick is amazing for visuals, but sometimes he gets way too poetic with his movies. I can barely sit through The Thin Red Line. Of his more recent movies, The New World is the only one I've liked as much as Badlands and Day...

Damages.Starting watching it this weekend and couldn't turn it off. I'm not really into TV law drama, but damn this show is good. They've got an excellent cast and good writing. Each season is one case. Halfway through season 1 and I'm hooked.
