Im enjoying watching this show, but I agree that they should have had the local producers/engineers do the recording. All the songs kind of sound like they are from the same session to me...

My band Libyans played this gig last night too! It was awesome. The sound guy was amazing. Furnace, AP, and Coliseum sounded super thick and punchy - but it wasnt deafening either, it was a really good balance.

My girlfriend said the same thing, she thinks it looks really cool. Its growing on me. Now that I fixed the pickup brackets it looks way better. They were black before and It looked really bad.

Yeah it plays and sounds awesome. Ill post some clips soon. I would say mail-ordering a guitar could be a pain, but if you go there (or have a friend in the area grab one) than its totally worth it.

Check out www.fatdawg.com. This guy makes something called a JizzBlaster that you special order. He can make it pretty much exactly like a jazzmaster (hence the name). They run around 400 bucks. I would advise very, very strongly against dealing with Fatdawg and Subway Guitars, especially ordering ...

I have that exact Univox machine. It uses a spinning magnetic disk instead of tape. The motor in mine is kind of fucked, so it flutters a ton, which might be what your looking for as well...
