Man oh man........ I know i'm not charging enough.

I only get $20 per song......... I have $12K in the gear and a modestly treated room.

$20 a song is enough to keep me chain-smoking thru the recording and mixing process, and buy McD's on the way home..........

I checked out Pachyderm awhile back and in there mics list there is nothing I would deem "tape-able" to any surface, and only a few mics that met the standard of "old, german" etc. I guess it really doesn't matter what they were or even if they were, I still love that open sound Steve got ...

I did do a search for info on In Utero, but I've read interviews with Cobain where he claimed that Steve "taped condensers all over the walls". Just wondering what the "huge old german condensers taped to the walls" were that you used at Pachyderm to capture "IN UTERO", and had you used a similar setup (in room mic count) to record previously? What about close mics on the drums for that record? what was the preferred cab mic ...
