Thanks so much for all the suggestions. Does anyone have any thoughts on going to tape first and then bouncing to both separately? I guess there could be more discrepancy on playback etc., but assuming the machine is set up properly would this be reliable?

I'm in a situation where I can try out an apogee symphony vs. my old and admittedly far cheaper echo audiofire interface, and I'd like to, if possible, record the exact same thing (thinking just 4 mics on a drumkit) to two different interfaces. That is, not play the same thing twice, play it once so...

I'm from Australia and am trying to work out a very brief interning stint while I'm in the US in November. I've tried Tiny Telephone, Louder Studios and Lucky Cat and they're either full up with interns or don't take them.Has anyone got any other ideas for good studios to try?thanks
