Well it is THAT TIME, folks!

Anyone have leads on a 2-3 bedroom space in Chicago for rent? Not looking to buy currently. I have a dog, she's lovely.

Property owners of the PRF - show yourselves and open your heart to ME being a WONDERFUL tenant for YOU!

I know most people are definitely fully embedded in the Logan/Avondale/Hermosa area, but Chicago is a big city and it doesnt hurt to be open minded to some other places, even the inner burbs.

TBH I enjoyed living in Oak Park. Lots of rentals around. The only caveat I would have would be to get a place w/ a parking spot included or account for something b/c overnight street parking is basically non-existent. Rents are prob similar or maybe cheaper than the north side. Access to green/blue lines and metra. Easy 20 min drive to Logan Square. Worth a look if you are open to it.

South side (Bronzeville/South Shore/Hyde Park) was fine too. A little farther from friends but some nice ass apartments and seemingly not as uptight as the north side. close to the loop/LSD. I was walking distance to both the 47th red line and 43rd green line stop which made it real easy to get downtown. However, it was a long ass 45-60 minute drive to go socialize in Logan Square. Hyde Park has some great bars & restaurants.

Well, my relationship finally took a dump and here I am needing a 2-3 bedroom apartment since I work from home. Just me and my pretty chill cat.

Any Chicago PRF peoples have a 2 or 3 flat and need a tenant?

Also open to any other leads. Been hitting Zillow mostly with a little Craigslist.

Help! Feeling extremely overwhelmed.

Ah damn, sorry to hear that Tommy. That stuff is never easy, and then throw in the complication of having to find a new living situation, yeah, it's totally overwhelming!

Oddly enough, the last three apartments I've found have all been found on Domu. I can't explain how or why, but that site has worked out really well for me in the last 11 years of living in Chicago, so I'd suggest giving that a look!

If anybody hears about a 2/2 opening in Rogers Park or Logan Square-ish, hit me up. Looking at a May/June move in date.
