Let's count how many ways him wearing that is just WRONG, shall we?

Not as bad as the dude from New Kids on the Block wearing a Bauhaus shirt in the video for "Hangin' Tough", but still mortifying.
If it wasn't for landlords, there would have been no Karl Marx.

I know lots of you haven't been able to shake the fat "artsy" girl from high school from your minds yet to the point where you can finally give the entire Smiths catalog a chance and discover what you were missing, but I know those of you who know better will be appalled at the above photo.

I've seen this before. My favorite part is that it's obviously a brand new t-shirt, fresh off the rack at Hot Topic. Like those 13 year olds who show up at shows with the brand new Ramones and Black Flag t-shirts. I love that.

Has anyone taken the time to read Fat Freddie's blog? He always ends it with whatever music he's (supposedly) listening to at the time, and he usually has some pretty good music in there. The Joy Division and Smiths t-shirts represent such entries, but there are more - and more surprising - artists showing up in that one line of his blogspace. I remain convinced that someone at MTV is giving him a list of Pitchfork-crowd-friendly tunes to pick from, but it is an almost convincing shtick.

Does it make the music/bullshit he's responsible for suck any less though?

What's the address to his blog, I'm curious. I googled it, but the one I found had only been posted on like 4 times.

Side note: Each one of the 4 postings had like 800 comments from his minions. Some examples:

"hah, wow. i agree. you're a smart person, fred."
"Nice site you have, That comment is Deep...but true.......,write back dude, propsss"
"the man knows his shit......"
"the shits heavy but true. Amen!"

The dude that kept popping in with this stuff was funny, though: "I did it all for the nookie. Right, crap face?" & "You sucka weina?"

He's supposedly a Sonic Youth fan too.

It makes you wonder. Would/could someone who genuinely likes good and sincere music make throwaway trendy pop shite and act like a poorly trained monkey just for money?

I don't remember, I found it while reading Buddyhead's gossip column a long time ago. I think you're looking at the right page, but I could swear I remember there being more stuff on it. Those funny comments are probably the work of Buddyhead / Buddyhead fans.

After investigating, the last entry on said blog seems to have some mention of a 'hacker' of sorts. I don't know whether this is referring to the blog itself or that time someone hacked into his Sidekick and ganked the video of him stuffing some groupie from behind, but maybe that explains the lack of posts.
