Leicester can be a bit of a desert if you want to do the kind of music I like.

Every city in Florida can pretty much fill this category for me.

All you have to do to disuade yourself from ever visiting ANY city in Ohio, is watch the movie "Gummo."

"gummo" was filmed in my hometown nashville. some quality appearances from a couple friends and acquaintances. nashville had to be mentioned in this list. music shity usa.

I live about an hour south of houston, and the pathetic thing is I have to go THERE to do anything. There are lots of very good musicians in my town, but zero with any sort of vision. Houston is ugly and the traffic is terrible, but theres a few cool studios, venues, and great resturants to somewhat make up for it. Of course then venues are mostly dominated by these nazi scenesters that form a sespool of whatevers en vogue. But... its better than my town. I think..

Theres some great views if you go to the tops of office buildings, especially on the southwest side, the city looks like a forest.

Umm, no Howie....Gummo was filmed in, and blatantly uses the town of Xenia, Ohio, as Harmony Korine's warped, twisted, brilliant view of middle American white trash at it's epitome.

Gummo is set in Xenia, Ohio...is meant to be SLIGHTLY documentorial (is that a word?) about Xenia, Ohio, which is a real town in Ohio.....yet filmed in Nashville. Interesting.

no problem. most people wouldn't expect to see something like gummo come out of nashville. harmony was in highschool there the same time as myself.

We had a game on the road called "How Much Would They Have To Pay You" the idea was to give a minimum yearly salary you'd have to be offered to move to a given city.
