Not Crap!

Dead C = good.

We (Shellac) tried to get them to come play at ATP a couple of years ago. They couldn't do it. We met them in Port Chalmers NZ, and they were the best. Exactly the sort of people you would hope to meet, if you were a fan of their music. Made me glad I liked them.

that is very cool

one of the first noise/weird bands I ever really got into and still one of my favorites. Every few months I pull out Trapdoor Fucking Exit or Harsh 70s Reality, I still love those albums now as much as I when I first heard them.

Yah, they are good.
And there are a dozen other excellent NZ bands. HDU, Loves Ugly Children, 3d's, King Loser, Darcy Clay, etc etc etc....check them out.
Isn't HDU on a atp shellac comp? Yah I assume it's the same band.

Was it last year? Or time ago two years? It is one or other. But, I finally get to witness music show of Dead C, in A City By A Body Of Water. All the way live, this is!

This show, she very funny. Equipment, they have troubles with. Some troubles. But all, she is resolved. Show goes on. Much noise of a nature very pretty.

And then, so funny! Signor Bruce Russell, and Signor Michael Morley, they have big argument on stage! How you say...."shouting match." While show is going! While noise is noiseing! While drums is drumming! While geese is laying! Very wonderful, is this.

non-crap. very great, in fact. as great as a handful of dust, tho? that, i suppose, is another story.
