Max plays like he's playing ANY instrument (piano, guitar, skinflute, etc.). It just happens to be a set of drums that the ol' lordski has set in front of him.

The older I get the more I realize that the way he plays is so rare to find. Believe it or not but I do see similarities between him and Tommy Lee.

I've seen the show taped a number of times. The guy is awesome. He's almost as self-depricating as Conan, and usually gives that "I'm extremely uncomfortable talking on camera," vibe even when he's got 1 or 2 lines scripted in. Hilarious show, good drummer, good dresser...........
