I've come to realize that it's not this band that irritates me so much........ I can at least turn the radio off or switch stations.

It's really the die-hard PJ fans that irk me to no end. Having worked with a producer who was convinced that EV/PJ could do NO bad whatsoever, I'm gonna have to vote crap for their effect on people, alone.

Actually, to some degree, this "producer" guy is one of the reasons I came to the EA forum.

Once, while cool-man-dude was mixing our record I said, "I don't like that". He looked at me, smiled, and said, "really? I think it's cool!" I'm ashamed to admit that the final version contained the "I don't like that" bit.

I would never put my vision of a band before their own. Pearl Jam-man did and now I think that's a total dick-move. God damn it.

This one is simple, people.

I could not agree more. Two years on and we're still debating this?

I remember DJing at WAMH in 1991-2 and receiving this record "Ten"....and thinking "what the fuck...classic rock...what the fuck?"

Pearl Jam...turgid, quasi-hippie, careerist sludge rock. What the fuck, yo?

CRAP.

Seattle throat is the scurvy of rock.

There is something very fucked up and disturbing about this image. While at first this made me laugh, that initial giggle quickly went down a dark path to disturbance. There is something that is flat out uncorrect about this. I don't like this and I'm now afraid, confused, and disturbed.

This disturbs me too, in that way that babies can sometimes look like old men.
