CRAP.

Doesn't anybody just make themselves sandwiches?

CRAP.

It's the sauce!

All fast-good is shit, but if you are out, hungry and the only options are KFC, McDs and Subway... Subway it is.

I sometimes pop to the supermega-marché to get ingredients to build my own sarnies at my desk. I am roundly ridiculed. Mind you, it's usually a couple of slices of proscuitto with a sundried tomato bap, and the people I work with consider Pizza Hut to be a 'classy' joint, so it's to be expected.

I have to doff my ass to Subway for providing something other than the fat-laden fare you normally have to contend with after a night out. The meat is of jubious quality, but I'd rather wrap the Rimbaud rot round their offerings than that of McBurgerFC.

Until I'm really drunk. Which is when I start longing for a Rodeo Melt.

Actually the number of Subways in America outnumber any other fastfood establish. I worked at one myslef for a week, but quit cause i really disliked the boss.

You guys are right in the fact it is prepackaged ok-quality meat that they use. The meat is usually killed in salt and other latherings so it doesnt go bad etc.

The veggies though are always very fresh, and the bread is baked daily.

For the price you can beat a fresh sandwich that is low in fat (if you dont get mayo/cheese) and tastes great.

The daily sandwich special makes the place an even better deal!

Just out of curiosity, do you recall what he ordered?

Yeah the sandwich he had them make was just a ton of everything plopped together, like ALL the turkey and bologna they had sitting there and a ton of lettuce and tomatos and cheese, he took a few extra things of bread too so I imagine he could eat for at least a day or two with all that shit...it was just weird, I could see saying 'put a bunch of food in a big bag' and taking it if I was that hungry, but he sat there for 5 minutes and made them make this giant sandwich out of all of it. When the cops showed up they asked the same question you just did...

I'll eat the shit out of some Subway. It's what i usually eat on my lunch break when at work. They always use fresh ingrediants and i enjoy watching my food being prepared right in front of me rather than in the back of a greasy hamburger joint. the sandwiches can be pricey but well worth it for quality fast food.

Favorites:

12" turkey on white w/ everything but cucumbers and carrots.
12" meatball with all the fixin's
