Worst Neil Young Song

ok, so let's agree that 'let's roll' is the worst neil song ever

'heart of gold' is great. it's great for many reasons, but the drumming alone would make it great.

i like 'a man needs a maid' a lot. i think he's lettin' it all hang out, in a good way.

Someone said a very similar thing to me about this song a while back--he's ripping through the song, vocals sound great, just gettin' it done.

I just simply cannot see it. My wife doesn't like it for the abject silliness of the lyrics. But this is a big part of his deal, particularly in the early 70's. You know "I dreamed I saw the sliver spaceships flying" that type of thing. I really like most of that stuff.

I will just agree to disagree!

Mayfair and Tmidgett, you are fine folks!

I've loved Neil Young for almost 20 years. I've loved Skynyrd and especially Ronnie Van Zant almost as long. I used to think they hated each other so you can imagine my surprise when I was watching a Skynyrd documentary a few years ago and saw Ronnie on stage wearing a Neil Young "Tonight's the Night" t-shirt. I have since learned that they had a great mutual respect and admiration for one another.

So, you are correct - as usual, Ronnie was right.

Maybe all of "Greendale."

What was the mid-eighties country record? "Old Times" or some bullshit?
Those songs were atrocious.

"Comes a Time," and yes, it is not very good at all.
There are crispy fries waiting to come out of your oven: you just have to make them and put them there.
