I have long enjoyed "Point" beer, but I have found a new favorite Wisconsin brew: LaCrosse Lager.
The good people of LaCrosse got together and bought back their brewery (City Brewery) after many companies, and eventually Pabst, bought out "Old Style". Old Style, like Pabst, are currently brewed in Texas. (My facts could be wrong on this point, but I'm pretty sure)
LaCrosse Lager is the old "Old Style" formula before other companies changed it up in the 80's. It is brewed in the original old style brewery by the people who went out of work when bigger companies bought up the smaller ones. In short, this is a fine product.

52As far as the question concerning Celis, yeah I'm not sure what's up with it. I used to drink it when I was in Texas. I agree, somewhere along the line Shiner suffered from a noticeable decline in quality back in the 90s. My memory as what year the change was noticeable is a bit unclear. As far as Celis I'm not sure what's up, but I guess they have gone out of business or something so I can officially strike that from the list. I haven't seen Celis since I moved to the east coast about 7 years ago but I figured it's just because it wasn't known here and therefore wasn't stocked.
I've checked the Celis page, and they say something about the Celis White being brewed with permission from Celis by the Michigan Brewing Company.
That sucks.

53Real men drink whiskey. Real angry men drank lots of whiskey. I drink Jack 'n' Coke with a CHERRY. I'm a quasi-Man.

If you ever get a chance to go there, do. How pubs should be.

56To be honest, I've never enjoyed drinking weak American beer. I preferred drinking the Mexican beer instead.
Anyway, here are some of my favourites;
Imported Stella Artois (has to be Belgian),
Peroni - Nastro Azzuro (smells like weed)
Budvar (not Budweiser!)
Warsteiner (very dry - like Becks)
Becks
Furstenberg (fucking lovely)
Pilsener Urquell
Staropramen (sometimes called strap your bra on by wankers)
Liefmann's raspberry beer (for desert after many pints)
Stein Lager (from New Zealand - nice and hoppy)
San Miguel (decent, but only Spanish imported export strength)
Baltika (Russian, dry and light, similar to Becks)
I can't stand any British lager - it's all shocking. Some British beers are ok though.
All this talk makes me want a beer.

All of these are correct.
I really like Oranjeboom. It's a Dutch lager- bloody brilliant. Tsingtao (Chinese) is decent.
There's another Italian beer, Moretti, that I like. It has a picture of a gentleman that looks like Will Oldham on the label.

Well done matt. These two are fine drops.
In Ireland they have a beer called smithwicks which is rather nice.
