Indeed they are... they have good recorded stuff, but live is where that band truly shines, definitely the epitome of a young band who just keeps growing for the better.
I've played with them a few times, they are a fantastic band and fantastic people, i'm sure they will eventually get out to your neck of the woods.
oh yeah I forgot Moggs too.

43From Monument to Masses
Friends in the Mountaints
are also good.
The Whip was fantastic but sadly short lived, RIP Scotty Jernigan.
Check out the websites of all those bands, I doubt you will be disappointed, all of them are west coast though... some tour, some do not yet.

I stumbled across those guys (Ancient Greeks) on Epitonic and absolutely love them. They're my favourite new band at the moment.
Another couple of bands i'm loving at the moment that may or may not be new, young or unknown (I am in Australia are:
Zykos
Ester Drang
And a shameless plug for my own new band Minor Ache we've only been playing for 8 months or so, I recorded our two demo tunes with minimal gear but they came up sounding not too bad. We start recording our debut rekkid next week which should be fun. Hope some of you may like our stuff
Cheers,
Marcus

49I was unaware of TheSwede's music until I listened to "Untitled Last Song".
I really like this song, and I look forward to hearing more of TheSwede's music.
