Which is better digi002 or Radar2

I've found Protools to be easier if you are use to analog but are switching over to the world of obsoletes, unfixable problems, and storage issues.

Things like Radar, Cubase/Nuendo, Logic, DP3, Sadie, etc. seem to be made for the grownup-in-a-digtal-environment kind of person. It is unfortunate that people have had that type of audio childhood.
But sometimes you have no choice.
( choice = money X time X self-respect)
So i would suggest Protools as the lesser of both evils.

Well, we're all entitled to our opinions, but...

RADAR has nothing in common with all the programs you mention. It is a stand-alone system that has arguably the best sound quality of all the digital systems currently on the market. It is also the most intuitive for those used to using analogue machines. I would never claim that RADAR is superior to analogue, but if you are forced to work in the digital environment, RADAR is most certainly the lesser of two evils for all the reasons I mention above, as well as their exceptional customer support system.

ProTools is rather counter-intuitive, and the sound quality is noticably brittle and abrasive unless you have top notch a/d converters. At least RADAR keeps the integrity of the sound and simplicity of use in mind.

If you have a nice analog desk then Radar 2.

Digi 002 would be a nice option otherwise. 96k versus 44.1 isn't going to be twice as good. The sound of the converters make the difference, in my usually wrong opinion. Digi 002 doesn't have as many in / outs as Radar 2, so would be better suited for internal mixing, which I dig. There may be latency issues with monitoring during tracking. Not sure, as I own the HD system.
