shitty though it is seeings here we all are on the EA forum, but I don't use the 500 because everyone just says "yeah you just want to be in shellac". It sucks. I bought the thing in about 1999 or so and I got it in the best piece of karma ever - totally by luck and the guy said I could have it for next to nothing even though he knew it was worth more because "you want it more than I do and you won't sell it". So I won't or my karma or luck or whathaveyou will get broken. over and out.

It seems to me your only option is to immediately mail that guitar to me- someone who is not escared to be lumped in with Mr. Albini...as long as it means I have a Bean in my hands. Seriously...I don't see any other option.

2000 Guild Starfire IV. I bought it last fall for $800.

It's a lot like this one here.

It's a heap of hyperbole, I'm sure, but the pickups that come in the recent Guilds are the BEST sounding humbuckers I've ever heard.

The pickguard is also one of the ugliest pickguards ever, so I took it off.

My 70s-era S-100 came with a hideously ugly clear pickguard. A very cheap-looking version of the Guild logo was on it as well.

So bad.

I forgot one, I still have one of these from my childhood, too.
