Moose Drool is one of my favorite beers. All the Big Sky brews are available at the hooch barns here in town, and a few bars have it on tap.

Does anyone know anything about that Gumballhead the Cat beer that Three Floyds Brewery made in conjunction with Skin Graft's release of the Gumballhead comic/Cheer-Accident soundtrack. It was supposedly going to be available in Minnesota, but I've never seen it and I'd really like to get my hands on a bottle or two.

I'm so up for the Fat Tire lovin' that I'll offer anything Chicago has to trade.

I live 15 minutes from Sam's Wine in Downers Grove if there's something there that you can't get in your neck of the woods.

I paced my collegiate years with Fat Tire, and everytime I'm out West I make sure to bring back a case or two...

Pabst

I know it's brewed there now, but as a Milwaukean, this is still weird to me...

I agree even though I have switched to Blatz for cheep swill, thems fighting words...

I can provide the entire range of Starobrno, incl. 8, 10, 11, and 12 degree brews [they use the Bearing scale in the CzR] plus the dark Cerny Drak and Baron Trenk 16 degree [about 6.5% alc/vol.]

There's also the Cerna Hora brewery not far from Brno, offering a tasty but headache inducing pilsner, and also an interesting kind of cola containing hops...

But fuck, what am I doing in Brno? Most of the really good shit (except the exquisite Litovel Maestro, among others) is made in Plzen...

Anyway, do you guys plan to run this beer trade by mail or wtf?

Even domestic, that can get expensive.

Gents...it is pricey to mail a 6 pack across the US via the postal service. I mailed one recently by way of "parcel post" and took it in the arsky! My only choices were 1) Parcel Post for $17 bucks or 2) Priority mail for 17.50.

So, how do we get around this? I hope none of you work for the postal service...

The key is either (fedex--choose the cheapest slowest option), (UPS--choose the cheapest slowest option) or you can pick my favorite (media mail vis USPS). The thing is, you're not sending suds (duh), you're sending a box of
FRAGILE--PHONOGRAPH RECORDS.

This will only cost you 5-6 bucks if you do it this way, which is still cheaper than UPS or Fedex.

Gents, i can't stress this enough...the key is to pack well so nothing breaks...and don't get spooked when the media mail stamp they use says "open to inspection." Even postal workers role their eyes at that.

Email me about yer wants and watcha can get.

Have any of you had Pacifico? I'm sure you have, as it is Mexico's finest cerveza. Come summer time, it is my beer of choice. Here is my recipe:
Drink enough of the beer so that the longneck is empty.
Add 1 lime wedge
Fill the bottle with clamato (try the new picante variety if you like a kick!)
Enjoy.
I can't afford to indulge in the beer trade, but it got me thinking about sweet, sweet Pacifico at 8:51 this a.m., so I thought I'd share.

p.s. No internet filters at work for the third day in a row. Praise Jebus.
If it wasn't for landlords, there would have been no Karl Marx.

I thought I'd share this regarding beer.

I just recently acquired a garage "beer fridge" (a small fridge used for beer and beer alone.....but you knew that).

Anyway, the guy that gave it to me insisted on setting it up "right" and proceeded to set it so that anything in it is just BARELY above freezing. I have to admit, I chastised him a bit saying something like "Won't that beer freeze and burst?" He laughed and called me a pussy.

Here's what I want to share: That fucking beer gets so cold that drinking it is a new found aesthetic experience. I have had plenty of "cold" beer before but never this COLD! Let me tell you something.....if you want to experience beer in it's purest glory, get yourself a "beer fridge" and set it just above freezing. I've noticed that a lager is the type that really shines in this situation but I can't imagine anything being terrible.

No, putting the shit in a freezer and then barely remembering to take it out in a few minutes doesn't count. The brew picks up on your stress and won't taste as good. Besides, you're gonna forget to take it out after that bong rip.

Do it. I dare you.

I just had a bottle this weekend - it was very nice! I think they have some more on the shelf at Corral Liquors here in scenic Granite City, IL... let me know if you want to do some kind of a trade or something. (It doesn't come in 6-packs yet, just in single larger bottles - like 24 oz or something)
