I just streamed their new album from the Touch and Go site. They've been going for 25 years. Why does nobody tell about these things?

I've seen this band on their two most recent US tours. They've been a band for 25 years, and currently plays ZERO "old" songs, and remains as vital and "with it" as ever, if not more so. They're most recent record is as good as any other they've released. NOT CRAP.

After months of delay, I finally picked up Turn and it is brilliant.

This song's a good example of something I'm having to come to terms with about the Ex: the lyrics are often so trite it's embarrassing. If anyone is 100% with them politically, it's likely me, but at times the lyrics are so terrible they almost (but don't) ruin songs for me. The globalize the pie bit, eek that's terrible (and I like pieing).


Other times the words are great however, as with "Frenzy."
