There's rarely anything funny about violence against women. You may also find that it puts women off contributing to this board as accepting the content of the thread as 'funny' without question may lead some potential contributors to believe that its some cosy misogynists club.

I thought I had got a feeling for the board character until I read that thread and didn't see too many dissenting posts...... I have to say I'm disappointed. Ask you girlfriend or wife what she thinks about the content of the thread and you'll get an idea of how offensive it is.
