While this is not necessarily offensive, it is notable that at this year's SXSW, The Fags and The Gay are each playing (though sadly, not on the same bill).

I live in Austin, as well. Saw the same words scribbled on the wall in the men's room at the Longbranch Inn, or whatever it is called. Similarly, the drummer in a new band I am in asked one of the 4 years olds he teaches what a good name for our outfit would be and the kid came up with 'butt nugget' which, when I heard it, made me laugh.

Cum Shot Wound was a kind of joke band a couple of my friends made up so they could play on a bill of fellow Music Industry Arts students at Call The Office in London, ON. The singer wore a gas mask, detuned his guitar to a non-tuning and screamed for 20 minutes while the other guy called up weird garbled samples and wore strange glasses with lights on them. Then they knocked over some TV's and a mic stand and the engineer shut them down. In all fairness, the TV's were there own and stopping a band for knocking over a shitty ass dynamic mic is a crock of shit.

back in highschool i used to be in a band called Anal Pope. that was pretty offensive. our big hit Cumsponge was... mostly not a hit.
