Really, firstly there was no "name-calling" or aggression. I can call you an asshat if you like, then your argument might have some weight. Secondly, I offered an "intellectually" satisfying rebuke via comparing the childish often ironic statements from this thread to the often highly offensive and misogynistic -ironic- lyrics of two of Steve Albini's previous groups.

Lastly, I'm concerned with your implication that "new guys" have less right to express opinions on this message board than more frequent posters. I'm a registered user. The language you use and the way that you use it e.g. spread some love thread, is a classic bullying tactic " hey let's round on the new guys" and is usually perpetrated by insecure, inadequate, malevolent sycophants who'd rather go along with crowd than dare to question their own and peer group attitudes.
