Lucky for you! One opinion is already on the table:

Anyone else? What the fuck do you all know about this?

I like kids just fine. My neices are cool to hang out with and take to the zoo and great america and whatnot. Do I ever want a kid of my own? No, not in the least.

Enlighten me.

I want to preface this by saying that you have posted a lot of stuff on this board that I've found really interesting and cool. No joke. Your reactionary posts in this thread and elsewhere are really comical/borderline embarrassing, though. Is your perpetually-hostile-and-indignant stance supposed to be a joke? I ask because it stands out as being particularly infantile on a board filled with often-infantile posters (myself included). Enlighten me.

P.S. - I am absolutely not posting this because of your gender. Please try to refrain from playing the gender card in your inevitable obscenity-filled response to this, because I promise you it does not apply here.

P.P.S. - I know, I know, who gives a fuck what I think?

Placeholder, don't waste your precious time that could be spent looking down your nose at single mothers on feeling embarrased for me. I'm not embarrased, so don't worry about it.

Oh, wait.......I guess you're not wasting your time! Me being a single mother and you looking down your nose at me and all.
Rescinded.
Carry on.

My comments about your posts were about your posts, not about single mothers. I do not look "down my nose" at single mothers (I was raised by one!), and you will not find one instance of me doing so in this thread. I've tried to make my case, which in no way involves disdain for single parents, fairly diplomatically in a thread that may or may not have initially been posted to raise the ire of certain people on this board.

It was pretty tactless for me to say something about your tactless posts, and it is silly of me to address junior-high-level behavior with the same, but I stand by what I said (...including the "not posting this because of your gender" part...).

But, yeah. You win. Please do not have me herded into the ocean for my transgressions.

I don't see one instance of ANYONE looking down on single mothers on this thread. Keep fighting those nonexistant people.
For one, the thread is called dating SOMEONE with a kid. Plenty of single guys have a kid or kids, and they have a hard time finding girls who want to date them and honestly that is who I was thinking about when I asked the question.
But it goes many ways, as all things do.

I'm not voting here but I have dated 'someone' with a kid.

I don't want to do it again but every experience is different. In this case the kid was spoiled and either ignored or used as a pawn between the two parents. I could tell she had the potential to be a sweet kid but after five years of no discipline...let's just say it was a problem.

Also it was mentioned earlier that most single moms are over the partying, staying out all night BS. Not in my case. She would drop the kid off at grandmas every chance she got and go out with her friends getting hammered all night and it wasn't a once in a while thing.

So for me once was enough. Luckily I've met an awesome woman who does not want kids. Our nieces and nephews are enough for us, thank you.

See you in the ocean!

I've been wondering where you are on this one.

Ms. Major Major will want the babies once the tough lady image gives way to pure unbridled biology. And I anticipate laughing at you then, with my brood of unknowing soldiers at my side.

To the Major's house!

No way man. You're not dragging me down with you.

We'll babysit for you though if you want.

I'll not have my kids corroded by your stanchly anti-creation views. You'll make them sterile with your thoughts.
