My Dad pronounces 'fuck' as 'fack', because he is from old-skool Clapham, South London.

i would say that neve is definitely pronounced rhyming with steve. this is due to my memories of malcolm chisholm talking about having met rupert neve. and malcolm pronounced it rhyming with steve.

and the studer i bought from greg that never gets used pronounces itself 'der shtooo-dah.' usually with a Klink - style overpronounced german accent, despite its' non-german origins.

Moogs, you know, those great synthesizers, Moog is actually pronounced Mow-g.

Lots of people don't seem to know that.

Guy (as in Picciotto) is pronounced "Gee" (with a hard "g" sound).

Everyone already knew that, but someone would have posted it eventually...

Nah, I know a lot of folks who rhyme Picciotto's first name with "sky," and a lot of people who don't rhyme Ian's last name with "sky."

If someone who knows him personally could prove me wrong, it'd be appreciated... I always thought it rhymed with "hey". I once met a former club bouncer who beat him up on one occasion (he allegedly yelled at this club bouncer-- someone I wouldn't have messed with in a million years for a million dollars-- for drinking beer), and the bouncer-guy pronounced it as described above.

I haven't seen Instrument; i'm sure the answer lies somewhere therein.

In the "D.I.Y. Or Die" DVD, he points out that it rhymes with "sky".
