How much does a 24 track Studer go for?

Here's what I've been seeing. 24 tracks with their bells on.
Let this be your guide for this month.
A827-
New= 58,000
Almost new (bought by big studio for "fat sound" effects plug-in)= 30,000
10 years old "working" from a reliable seller= 15-20k
ebay "fired her up last week and everything seemed ok" machine= 10-15k

A820-
"working" from a reliable source= 20-25K
turned on every so often in a converted-to-digital studio= 15-20K
ebay "fired her up last week and everything seemed ok" machine= 10-15k

A800-
"working" from a reliable source= 10-20k
ebay "fired her up last week and everything seemed ok" machine= 8-15K
Although I won an auction last week for this at $3,400. Damn reserve.
A80-
"working" from a reliable source= 8-15k
ebay "fired her up last week and everything seemed ok" machine= 5-10k
ebay "I don't know, parts machine maybe?"= 3-5k

Knock off 5k for European prices. Tape costs twice as much there.
I'm waiting until I can get a couple of 820s for $5,000.

Those prices are really skewed unfortunately. This website is a little misleading in our field.
They don't tell you whether or not the auction was for a 2,4,8,16, 24 track, broken, too high a starting bid, bad seller, etc. 1/4" Studer 820s usually go for 1,000- 2,000 which would lower the "820" average dramatically if more of them have been sold.
It would be great if they would let you look at the actual auction to see what occurred.
Like I said, I "won" an A800 machine for 3,300 bucks, but alas no machine.
