34Rotten Tanx wrote:I can't believe you guys like Jesu. Are they good on record or something? I saw them a few months ago at a festival and walked off during the second song. It was two slightly embarrassed looking gentlemen with guitars and a laptop. It was not good.
I've never seen them live, but they are very good on record.

36I'm so fucking glad I get to post this today:
Chris Brokaw's "Incredible Love"
Oh my, she is good! Just got my copy not 6 hours ago.
I will not even say how many "spins" it's gotten.
It's good!

38"A River Ain't Too Much To Love" (Smog's latest) is his best since Knock Knock i'd say.
"KFC Core" by DJ Scotch Egg is very entertaining, mostly composed from 2 Gameboys.
Although released in Japan last year, JagJaguwar have issued "The Same As A Flower" by Nagisa Ni Te in 2005. I would say their best and a very good starting point for anyone remotely interested in Japanese psyche-folk.
"Blessed Black Wings" by High On Fire is a great no nonsense balls out rock/metal record.
Aside from the possibly accuired taste/irritating DJ Scotch Egg album, i very very highly recommend any of the others, and stand behind my thinking that they are truly great records.

40Well apart from the stuff we've put out this year (Krunchies! krunchies! Krunchies! everyone!) I have been digging.
A Frames - Black Forest
Karate Party - Black Hellicopter LP (SS Records - who did those first two A Frames LP's)
Frustration 12" - from france
Black Time LP - Anyone in the UK seen these guyss yet. Great noisy garage punk.
Regulations LP - Swedish old school punk.
best 7" I've gotten so far this year is by a texas band called Manikin. They have a really authenticc old school post punk sound ala Joy Division.
