in our bathroom, my roommate has a record tacked to the wall across from the toilet. song #2, on side #2 is called "Think About It". the name of the artist is The Deuce.

i love the styx anal-ysis.

obviously chicago-centric. i think an equal argument can be made for Boston. the shit and shitting references absolutely bowl me over....

to wit:

more than a feeling
peace of mind
long time
hitch a ride

don't look back
the journey
its easy
feelin satisfied
dont be afraid...

(i refuse to consider anything beyond the first two records)

by the way, the cover art on the first record is just so awesome- spaceships shaped like guitars fleeing an exploding earth. like a rock-Space:1999. the drugs were better in the 70s.

I used to be in a band with a fellow, he turned out to be a total piece of shit.
So whenever I have to make poopies I get up and say 'excuse me for a moment, ladies....I am going to meet Jack Williams in the back, I will only be a few minutes'
'Dave Miley' 'Chris Argires' 'Joe Blume' also work.

Here in Kentucky, we're fond of saying, "Excuse me, I have to give birth to a couple of Hoosiers."

Or you can yell to someone on the way to the bathroom, "Flush twice--it's a long way to Indiana."

I used to talk shit about Indiana all the time.
My friend dragged me there this weekend to go to the demolition derby.
We watched busses flip over and smash into each other and blow up.
I got a cute girl's phone number who was sitting next to me.
We bought 5000 firecrackers for very cheap and have been blowing them off in my front yard all week and hiding from the cops when they come.
I now have a fond place in my heart for Indiana.
