I just saw this tonight - I thought it was stunning. Left me speechless.
This would be incredible in an Imax theater.
100% Not Crap!
Film - Koyaanisqatsi
2The film is not crap, the music however, makes me want to stick ice picks in my ears. I understand the minimalist ethic but in this case it struck me as pretentious.

3Really? Philip Glass is the best part about the movie!
The cinematography is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but it just wouldn't be
complete without the music.

5Saw this two years ago at the Chicago Theater with the PG Ensemble playing live. They couldn't sell enough tickets, so I got in for about $10. Very nice! Plush seats!

6Definitely not crap.
Powaquatsi is more exciting. I've seen both live a couple times with the PG orchestra and fell asleep once during Koyannisqatsi even after forking out $40 for the ticket. Still not crap, though.
Naqoyqatsi (the 3rd in the trilogy) is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Worthless visuals about the 'computer age' with 1's and 0's floating around. Complete crap. And I wanted to like it...
