I am echoing sentiments only because it is so easy to do:

Salut!

These Calzini Bianchi have won the ugliest series in memory, but they were good enough to win anyway. So nice for to win.

Buona fortuna alla Serie di Mondo, Calzini! Buona fortuna!

When the Phillies won in 1980 I was up banging pots and pans untill early in the morning. But then I was eleven. What it did do was make me a fan of the sport. And it was even easier when dad was coaching little league.

Enjoy!

when i called bradley r. weissenberger last night, i went outside and held up the phone so he could hear the deathly silence enveloping the north side

these 'ugly' games....four complete games, this is not an ugly thing. this is a thing of rare beauty that we may never again witness in the playoffs. 'ugly' is maybe hitting a buck seventy-five b/c four pitchers held your bats hostage for 36 innings. so great.

So true. I live near a few northside bars that are always packed with fans who usually expload in delight on big plays. When Konerko stepped on first I muted the TV to hear the neighborhood reaction... Nothing.
Just the normal din of no particular Sunday night.

Congrats to all Sox fans. Your suffering has come to an end. May you revel in your tears of joy and not have to endure Pinella saying "Timmy" every other pitch throughout the World Series.

This White Sox team is special.

The Sox win the pennant! The Sox win the pennant!

My favorite moment of last night's game was Konerko's AB against "K-Rod" in the 9th. Konerko getting to 2-0, then having the pitching coach come out.

Konerko hung back passively in the box before the pitch came, tricking "K-Rod" into thinking he was going to take the pitch. He got the fastball he wanted and smoked it off the wall in right.

This series, she was not ugly!

Salut, Sox!

si, this was beautiful

equally beautiful was k-rod throwing crede a curve, and crede waiting forever on it before gently knocking it over 2nd base for an RBI single

if i coached the littles leagues, i would show clip of this to say 'look, you little bastards, this is how you hit the breaking pitch!'
