When I was still living in Detroit Dee Dee moved there and started a band with some local scumbags. I believe they were called "Dee Dee Ramone and The Chinese Dragons". Anyway a friend and I ran into Dee Dee on and off around town for quite awhile. One evening he was especially wacked out-that's when I started calling him DDKING. Like you know "OK, settle down DDKING!" He didn't like that too much.

That shit is sad bro. That album sucks horse cock.

I will add that when he wasn't wacked out, he was a really nice guy. Sad life all the 'round.

Worth the price of admission for La Harry's soporific BG's on "The Mashed Potato." Overall, a real window into another kind of mind. Easily as good as Phyllis Diller's disco album, and more arresting to listen to than any of the trivial last half-dozen Ramones records.
