I always thought it rhymed with rock-ins until another thread where you challenged someone to correctly guess how to pronounce it. After that, I knew it wasn't that, and I figured it was Central European or some shit: foach-kins. But no.

"Linus" rhymes with "highness" by the way - not the same as Linus "rhymes with Guinness" Torvalds. Or maybe it's Linus "rhymes with penis" Torvalds. Dunno.
