Argentina: tips
17For Buenos Aires:
Eat steak and drink a bottle of red wine a night. This will cost $15. With a guest.
Skip public transportation. I don't think I ever spent more than $3 on a cab ride and I zinged across town a lot.
See Recoleta and the Cabildo, avoid Florida Street. Unless enjoy a crush of tourists and cheap crap.
Buy a gift for the lady at the San Telmo flea market.
Eat lots of ice cream. I haven't officially launched my World Tour of Ice Cream yet, but the ice cream is wonderful. And I want to know how it compares to the Italian cream.
In the city, the "ll"is not pronounced as a "y" sound, but a "sh".

I heard that the Argentinians love ice-cream as much as they love to be romantic. As for Italian ice-cream, I have to say it blew my mind.
(I think my wife thought she'd died and gone to ice-cream heaven, too).
