Many many years ago, being a huge NoMeansNo fan, I listened to the first album and was kinda underwhelmed. Worth a revisit?

(side note.. I've revisited the entire NoMeansNo catalog recently, have come to appreciate their later albums like Worldhood Of The World (As Such) and No One.)

AT has been really disingenuous about what's available in their catalog and what isn't, and I think it boils down to this... you're more likely to get something via AT by asking for it at an independent record store than you are by e-mailing them directly.. perhaps they want to help support record stores in lieu of on-line sales or something? I wouldn't put it past Jello to work that angle..(and it's arguable whether it's a worthy angle to pursue or not.)

No doubt about Andy Kerr's genius.

I want to know more about the band that Andy and John Wright had in the early 80s that connects the really early NoMeansNo bedroom stuff like Mama and "Here Come The Wormies" and what not to the more aggressive You Kill Me and Sex Mad, which kickstarted the era of NoMeansNo we all know and love.

Was the band called Trouble?

According to www.no-means-no.de (great website), it was a band called the Infamous Scientists. They released an EP called "Trouble," as well as a 7-inch.

There's also some other related projects listed on there, including an Andy Kerr solo cassette I've never heard of from '98 called "Once Bitten, Twice Removed."
