I've seen loads of good bands that have played really well but don't leave me wanting more. I just saw Broadcast and Gravenhurst on Saturday and while both bands were good, neither performance was memorable.
I figured I would start a thread about the mind blowing bands I have seen. Now I'm talkin' bands that pull you in, grab you by the balls and never leave you standing there lookin' at your watch.
Not sure if this is a complete list or not.
Superchunk - August 1995
Jawbox - Spring 1996
Neutral Milk Hotel - February 1998
Lungfish - Summer 1998
Boredoms - Summer 1999
The Ex - December 1999
Godspeed You Black Emperor - December 2000
Isis - October 2002
Akron/Family - May 2005

King Missle played at The local University and they were entertaining and gitaur plyer rocked and they were a guest of the radio station

10Honestly, I think green day has always been incredible live. I have a feeling though that they'd be quite obnoxious now. I haven't seen them for a few years, and they're "I'll let the drums and bass play for ten minutes while I shout OH---OH for crowd reaction" has been getting longer and longer as well. Keep in mind that I've been a green day fan from the teenage years
