Man, do I hate that sound!

Does that have a name? I've heard other fem-rockers do the same.

I am NOT down.

It wasn't-uh even a noise, It was more like a laugh-uh at the fact that she was actually reading-uh the fucking lyrics in the first place-uh.

I unfortunately had the bad fortune to have to sit through this at a friend's house last night. What she did, never mind getting Slash to represent Jimi Hendrix, pale in comparison to the abortion that was meant to be a tribute to John Peel, ie, the Buzzcocks, Peter Hook and some no-marks trying their best to be something but I have no idea what. Can you imagine what he would have made of it? Fucking Hell.

The whole thing is just deeeply silly though really. Pete Townsend's introduction to Pink Floyd was good though.

Um, because Sabbath are that good, and historically more important and influential than Led Zep.

Take rock history and subtract sabbath. Now take the same rock history and subtract Zep.

It's pretty clear that with no sabbath, there is no metal (not an issue of wether youi like metal or not). Take zep away, there is no ?.

Hmmm. I'm not going to argue with you here. Sabbath were good, yes.

Your point was only valid to Rock music though. Led Zep encompassed blues and folk amongst other genres during their career.

It is not the "UK Hall Of Rock". It's the UK hall of fame. Whilst I still think it is utter shite, I think they could have put Led Zep in.

Also, did you never hear any heavy Rock or Metal in Led Zep's music? They released their first record before Sabbath, and whilst it wasn't straight metal (it had variety), it displayed many of the elements of the Metal music which was to follow.
