Of course you would.
You don't seem to realize that Wreckx-N-Effect took Live At Leeds and threw it out the window with their amazing beats on "Rump Shaker".

Believe.

You know what's sad? I first heard "Rump Shaker" a year or two before owning "It Takes A Nation Of Millions." Imagine 13 year-old me listening to Public Enemy only to get really confused when "Rump Shaker" came on halfway through the album. I was bummed.
Police Teeth: we like Void so much, we decided not to sound like them.

And if you like Tommy, the double cd release of "...Leeds" has the whole concert, which included a really good live performance of Tommy in it's entirety, and is more rocking than the regular album.

Cheers.

Agreed. This is probably my favorite Who album because you really get to hear why they were considered a good (and LOUD) band. Keith Moon's drumming itsn't buried in the mix underneath tambourines, maracas, vocals, and whatnot like they are on the studio albums.

I'll pipe up for Live At Leeds. I know people have sort of pointed this out already, but make sure you get the deluxe edition, not the "expanded" or "remastered" editions, which are both still marketed as having loads of extra stuff on them; only the deluxe one has the entire concert.

Also, I heartily recommend the Who Isle Of Wight dvd, the American remastered edition, which has the full concert. You get to see as well as hear. It features a version of Young Man Blues which will set your skin on fire.

I like Sell Out, but don't much care for most of the studio albums. I certainly don't share the enthusiasm for Who's Next. I have always liked The Who, but didn't realise just how brilliant they were until about a year ago. Now I compare every rock band to them, and nearly every rock band comes up short.
Back off man, I'm a scientist.
