This is for the Brits on here or anyone over here who has seen. This was my favorite thing ever living in the UK last year, and I downloaded all of the episodes not too long ago and have won over all of my friends.
Also, has the third Series started yet? I read that it would in Nov.
British TV Show: Peep Show
2NOT CRAP.
It is one of the funniest shows on TV at the moment. I wasn't prepared to forgive the gimmicky way it was filmed at first, but I was convulsing with laughter by the second series and was totally won over.

3Ah! Peep Show! it's one of the very few things I look forward to watching on TV, I think it wipes the floor with most (if not all) British TV comedy of the last five years. I have an extra special soft spot for series two (friends abroad will be getting this for christmas, friendships that will be terminated if they don't like it) which nearly made me laugh-up my pelvis. So many the wonderful, painful moments - Super Hans casually describing crack as 'moreish', Mark rifling Sophie's email. Almost every appearance of Johnson.
Series Three is indeed with us. There's been three episodes so far - Jez is no longer with the lovely Nancy after a brief marriage and has a new girlfriend (with a penchant for strap-ons) but is making a play for his beloved Big Suze who has returned from travelling with a monk. He almost opened a pub with Super Hans after being 'given' it by a girl who was sectioned. In the most recent episode his mushroom party went disastrously wrong when Mark couldn't fly to a presentation in Frankfurt with a bad case of the squitters and had to be rescued when Jez locked him in his bedroom after overdosing him with Night Nurse.
Best TeeVee evah!
Edit: I've just noticed that Rachel Blanchard who played Nancy has a role in an upcoming film called Snakes On A Plane.

6I would have to say funny than the Office. Although I loved that show too...
In response to CJH, I too have to say that when I showed it to my friends here I thought that if they didn't like it I would have to stop being friends with them.
The "crack" episode is my favourite, maybe because it was the first episode I saw. "Smoking crack" was about the first line of the episode and I knew it was going to be great..
I don't think the camera work is gimmicky either. It sounds like it when you talk about it but they pull it off well.....it definitely was a lot more noticable in the first series..
I can't wait to see the new series. I had wondered about Big Suze, because they make several references to her in the show. They need to do an Xmas special like other Brit shows.
I was surprised at all of the crap shows in the UK....we get many of there series over here but apparently only the good ones, so it leads people here to believe that British shows are so much more sophisticated, but that isn't true. About the same ratio of crap to not crap programming I feel. Have you ever seen that sitcom over there with the kid in the wheelchair who narrates and his mother is Indian and the father is white? I can't remember the name but it was an embarassment....
Also too many reality shows there. I got bored one night and counted shows for a whole week in the TV schedual and over 50% that week were reality shows....including those shows where middle aged Brits want to buy a house in Spain....

7Peep Show is de best! I think the humor may be even more uncomfortable than The Office. Anytime I see Sophie on-screen I start to cringe in expectation of Mark making an ass of himself.
I've only seen the first series and it PWN5. I should pop over to amazon.uk and buy series two but I've already shelled out for Doctor Who. Which reminds me, I just about shit when I saw Johnson on Doctor Who.

8Definitely the best thing on at the mo, VERY VERY VERY funny, and VERY true to life.
The third series is on, and is fucking hilarious.

9Not Crap,
The episode where he can't remember what he (who is he?)
did wrong during the weekend of debauchery. Assumes he fucked up his roomates laptop. The last scene......"Now it's your turn." Priceless.
I've only scene a couple episodes. Fucking hilarious!

10I finally saw a few episodes from the first series this past weekend on BBC America. Hilarious! Definitely right up there with The Office.
I hope it did well enough that they'll show the subsequent series as well (or else I'll have to shell out for the DVD's).
I think it's showing again in the middle of the night a few times this week if you want to set your TIVOs.
