I think that comparing Pearl Jam to Kasabian or The Bravery is a bit harsh.
Pearl Jam aren't a a great band or even a fairly good band for that matter but they have at least tried to do some good things.
I don't believe either of these other bands can even grasp what a good idea is.

I sometimes like to stop and ponder the absurd fact that Pearl Jam saved my life.

this track is pretty mysterious, not much is known about it, Untitled appeared on a promo for their b-sides album. oh yeah, its spoken word. so if anyone here still gives a shit and wants to maby do some exploration, check this out, its worth it and Id like to get some opinions on it.

It's really the die-hard PJ fans that irk me to no end. Having worked with a producer who was convinced that EV/PJ could do NO bad whatsoever, I'm gonna have to vote crap for their effect on people, alone.

Actually, to some degree, this "producer" guy is one of the reasons I came to the EA forum.

Once, while cool-man-dude was mixing our record I said, "I don't like that". He looked at me, smiled, and said, "really? I think it's cool!" I'm ashamed to admit that the final version contained the "I don't like that" bit.

I would never put my vision of a band before their own. Pearl Jam-man did and now I think that's a total dick-move. God damn it.
